      <abstract xml:lang="en">
        <p> Contemporary solar dynamo theory is now transiting to the solar activity prediction problems. It looks important however to keep in mind foundations of the solar dynamo theory. This is why we consider here some unresolved problems in these foundations. The problems are important for understanding solar activity as well as activity of stars similar to some extent to the Sun. </p>
