TeA – Telescope Analyzer

Abstract
We have developed a multipurpose device for studying the optics and mechanics of the BTA and Zeiss-1000 telescopes. The heart of the device is a ZWO ASI 1600 MM Pro CMOS light detector mounted on a three-axis stage. The device was tested on the Zeiss-1000 and BTA telescopes. Based on the BTA tests, the spectrum of image oscillations along both axes was evaluated, as well as the possibility of using the device for estimating the aberration axis position (by direction of coma at the field of view), taking hartmannogramms, and recording images of stellar fields to measure coefficients of the pointing correction system.
